LHUNDRUP CHOLING is a 501(c)3 religious corporation organized under the Nonprofit Religious Corporation Law exclusively for religious purposes.

The specific purposes for which this corporation is organized are:
To support, foster and engage in religious activities and work toward peace by ;

1. Studying and practicing liturgies and other religious texts
2. Engaging in prayer and worship
3. Providing teachings and education in Buddhist philosophy and religious practices
4. Studying and training on Lord Buddha's teachings and enlightened activities
5. Studying, translating and compiling sacred Tibetan Buddhist texts
6. Preserving the sacred lineage of Nyingma Vajrayana Buddhism by practice worship, and teaching of religious texts, philosophy, sacred art and sacred dance
